Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a thin membrane that protects most internal organs (heart, lungs) and lines the body cavity (chest, abdomen). Malignant (cancerous) mesothelioma is often associated with exposure prolonged asbestos. As with other health problems related to exposure to asbestos, mesothelioma symptoms May not appear for years or decades. While all symptoms of exposure to asbestos are similar, a diagnosis of mesothelioma is usually fatal, death occurs within months.
